A little about FRANKLANDS Carpet Cleaning

I'm Adam from Franklands, your local friendly carpet cleaner in that yellow can you often see out and about. I've been cleaning carpets, curtains and upholstery for over 10 years now after taking over from the late, great Billy Frankland in 2010. Billy was an expert in his feild and fortunately for me, also a great teacher, and over the years I've worked on all types of carpets and fabrics leaving them fresh and clean.

Cleaning your carpet regularly can greatly extend its life. Sharp particles like sand can cut through the pile of the carpet, wearing it out and bacteria from feet and pets damage the pile in different ways, eventually creating that 'flattened out' look. A pair of human feet can produce up to half a pint of sweat per day! some of this damage is reversible but as is often the case, prevention is better than the cure.

Getting your carpets cleaned doesnt have to be a hassle. It's only me, my lotions and potions and some pipes that enter your home, the noisy stuff stays outside in the can. You don't need to empty your rooms, I can work around furtiture, move things around to clean under them and put them back, if you can't do any preparation at all I can still find a work around and your carpets are ready to use straiht away. On a good day they can be completely dry in an hour.

I don't use any shampoo so there is no residue left in your carpet or upholstery after they are cleaned so they'll stay cleaner for longer. I can remove a whole host of stains including blood, red wine, coffee, rust, oil, grease, make-up, nail varnish, paint and many more. As long as you don't tackle them first with random foams or sprays from the supermarket! Those products regularly contain bleaches which can 'fix' a stain and/or permanently discolour your carpet or upholstery.

I can also dry clean your curtains in place so you don't have to take them down and cart them off to the cleaners, clean your kitchen or bathroom floor and get rid of moths and fleas. It's hours of fun!
